We would like to welcome you to the Royals (Prince William Lacrosse Club). We are an organization dedicated to growing the sport of lacrosse for the youth residing within the geographic boundaries of Prince William County. We are a member organization and participate in the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League (NVYLL) in both girls and boys divisions in the spring league.

Heading into its 35th anniversary PWLC is providing parents and athletes access to affordable, developmental, and competitive team play, with growth opportunities for all players regardless of age or ability. Throughout the past 3 decades players, coaches and Commissioners have come and gone. The one constant is we are a “club of the community.”  Our membership is comprised of families and professionals from within Prince William County who will carry the club into the next 30 years.

The purpose of PWLC is to provide Prince William County youth an opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of lacrosse in an atmosphere of exemplary sportsmanship and integrity.  The girls cohorts participate by grade: K/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8; and Boys participate by age: Little Scoopers, U8, U10, U12, and U14. The NVYLL follows the US Lacrosse and USA High School Lacrosse Rules with a few exceptions.

NVYLL has established a high school pyramid for club participation.  To participate in PWLC, our members must be zoned for the following high schools:

If you are zoned to a different High School please contact a club representative before signing up for any PWLC programs to confirm eligibility.

The Club has begun to experience some unprecedented growth. There are many opportunities available for you to assist, so that we can continue the ability to offer the sport of lacrosse to all girls and boys interested in playing. We look forward to watching your daughters and sons experience the game of lacrosse, while learning the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.
